As a longtime lawyer and the president of EPC Consulting, LLC, Bradford Jacob leads a Virginia and Texas based company that offers informed advice spanning the energy and construction industries. His practice assists in structuring and negotiating contracts for design-build and turn-key projects across the globe. A particular focus is on major transactions (mega-projects) that involve outsized risks and rewards. Combined, Bradford Jacob and his colleagues have negotiated commercial contracts valued in excess of $25 billion and have managed contracts in execution of more than $7 billion.
Earlier in his career, Bradford Jacob saw active duty in the U.S. Army in the early 1990s and afterward joined the U.S. Army Reserve. Having earned his J.D. at the University of Richmond’s T. C. Williams School of Law, Mr. Jacob joined Taylor & Walker, P.C., in Norfolk as an attorney in the mid-1990s. Defending clients in general liability and malpractice cases, he achieved successful outcomes in approximately two dozen large-scale jury verdicts. Mr. Jacob also worked for ALSTOM Power, Inc., as in-house counsel.
