The business development function expanded and grew with the change in ownership. During this season I was able to manage a team and territory of 15 states and 6 team members whose quota was upwards of $85 million dollars and had an expanded portfolio of services and products.
In a transaction valued at $2.8 billion AMO was purchased by Abbott Laboratories and I was part of the team that transitioned to the newly created Abbott Medical Optics in the winter of 2009.
