Over the course of his career, financial services professional Bill Takos has guided the allocation of client assets with a focus on both production and service. He serves an international cohort of clients and has built strong relationships with many investors in Australia and New Zealand, where he holds dual registration as an advisor. To provide the most informed service to these clients, Bill Takos travels to New Zealand at least annually, but often more frequently.
Bill Takos works diligently to understand the needs and goals of all his clients, some of whom he has served since he entered the industry in 1994. He began working in financial services after passing his General Securities Representative Examination (Series 7) through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). Two years later, he earned the additional credential of General Securities Principal, or Series 24.
Mr. Takos went on to distinguish himself as a top producer with Oscar Gruss & Son and Josephthal & Co. He established his first self-owned branch through the Concord Equity Group and has continued to do so through both First Montauk Securities and National Securities Corporation. He now leads an office of Aegis Capital Corp. in Mineola, New York.
