An accomplished attorney, Bethany Palmer Recht brings nearly 15 years of experience to her position as a partner and chair of the diversity committee for Keating Muething & Klekamp in Cincinnati, Ohio. In her role with the firm, she represents settlement trusts and settlement funds while advising clients on various aspects of fund administration. In addition to her focus on settlement funds, Bethany Recht works with lien resolution administrators, claims administrators, and other entities involved with mass torts.
Prior to joining Keating Muething & Klekamp, Bethany Palmer Recht served as a litigation attorney with DLA Piper, LLP, in Los Angeles and as a summer associate and attorney in the complex commercial litigation section of Weil, Gotshal & Manges in Boston. An active member of the field, she regularly presents at continuing legal education events for her firm and has published articles in journals such as Los Angeles Lawyer.
Bethany Recht holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Michigan, where she belonged to multiple student organizations and graduated with honors. After beginning her law studies at the University of Toledo, she completed her juris doctor at Northwestern University School of Law.
