October 2014- October 2017: I Worked as a member of the hotels banqueting staff serving weddings and large functions.
Serving large groups I learned to take large orders and to clear large amounts at once. It also taught be to work efficiently as part of a team under time constraints to coordinate together to ensure smooth flow of service.
October 2017- May 2018: Waitress at the lighthouse bar and bistro of the hotel serving bar food and occasionally behind the bar serving drink.
I learned a lot about customer satisfaction and division of attention by striving to maintain quality service during busy times.
Enhanced communication skills from dealing with complaints from dissatisfied customers.
