An experienced clinical pharmacist, Babak Bamdad holds a bachelor of science in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), and a doctor of pharmacy from Long Island University (LIU). Babak Bamdad’s academic accomplishments include an Undergraduate Research Award from UMBC and a Preceptor Award, a New Preceptor Award, a Program Award, and an Award for Excellence in Medication Use from LIU.
Building upon years of experience as a clinical pharmacist, Mr. Bamdad currently oversees pharmacy operations for Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, New York. As chief and director of the pharmacy department, he directs comprehensive pharmacy procedures and ensures that all pharmacy comply fully with Presentation Medical Center policies as well as state and federal regulations. Babak Bamdad also handles general administrative functions that range from hiring new employees and overseeing department scheduling processes to completing annual performance reviews and initiating corrective and disciplinary actions as necessary.
