- The goal of the internship was to enhance the productivity and efficiency of a wire harness production line.
The responsibilities taken and the tasks performed are the following:
- Created a Value Stream Map of a production line to study a specific product
- Analysed the performance of the production line and set an action plan to implement lean manufacturing
- Carried a 5S event and a Gemba walk to tackle production inefficiency on site
- Performed time studies to determine standard times of work stations
