"Bevrijdingsdag" is a day on which National Liberation Day is celebrated in every major city in The Netherlands with a festival. In 2015, this was set up for the first time in Rotterdam by the 'Bevrijdingsfestival Commitee, of which I was the Vice-President. This 'start-up' had to be established to become a yearly phenomenon for all the students of Rotterdam and the region around it.
