Arthur Godsell, president and co-owner of Godsell Construction Corporation, has devoted a significant amount of time to the betterment of the Long Island, New York, area. In addition to serving as a member of the civic and business organization, Long Island Association, Arthur Godsell is an active fundraiser for the Nassau Community Hospital.
Furthermore, Arthur Godsell was presented with an Outstanding Achievement Award by the St. Andrew Avellino Athletic Association in Flushing, New York. The award recognized his many years of support for the organization, which seeks to teach children a number of life skills and values by encouraging them to participate in sports activities within a Christian atmosphere.
Mr. Godsell also mentors youth through his involvement in the Fresh Air Fund. As a host, he welcomes inner-city students into his home as part of a program to introduce them to summer experiences in less urbanized areas. In his leisure time, he follows the New York Jets and the New York Mets. He is also a member of the Peconic River Sportsman’s Club.
