A recent graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Arinze Okeke designs software for the Boston company Intersystems. Arinze Okeke’s responsibilities span front-end engineering and server-side development of software used by medical professionals and patients.
An avid runner, Mr. Okeke’s background in track and field extends to high school, where he competed on the cross country team. He participated in diverse field events, including the high jump, triple jump, long jump, and discus.
As an MIT student, Mr. Okeke competed in varsity track and field, where he nearly broke a number of school records. Achieving Walter Slovenski MVP award distinction, he was also a member of the Pole Vaulters' Club.
Mr. Okeke has taken up parkour in recent months and practices moves such as rail jumps, vaults, and balancing. He is a longtime student of the Japanese language and had the opportunity to study abroad at the Riken Institute in Japan in 2016.
