Anthony Bland

Merrill Lynch executive Anthony Bland heads the wealth management firm’s six Fort Lauderdale area offices as the market's managing director of Global Wealth & Investment management. In his role at Merrill Lynch, Anthony Bland leverages nearly 20 years of expertise in the financial industry and oversees the accounts of domestic and U.S-based clients in the Caribbean and Latin American markets and a portfolio of over $16 billion dollars in investable assets.

Prior to entering the wealth management and banking industry, he held multiple leadership positions in technology and financial consulting firms. He earned a degree in accounting from UCONN, a master’s of business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed a three-year professional Securities Industry Institute credential offered by the Wharton School's Security Institute of Executive Education.

In addition to his professional duties in the wealth management and banking world, Anthony Bland is active in several nonprofit organizations. He is a former board member of the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Discovery and Science and a current board member of the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation.
