Anna Richo has more than 25 years of professional experience as a business lawyer and an executive administrator. She currently serves as executive vice president and general counsel for the international biopharmaceutical company UCB. She co-chaired the Straus Institute Council of Distinguished Advisors at the Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, California. Anna Richo holds a bachelor of science in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and a juris doctor from the DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, Illinois.
Before joining UCB in November of 2012, Anna Richo held a variety of senior management law positions at Amgen, Inc., a global biotechnology firm with headquarters in Thousand Oaks, California. Ms. Richo has also served as a chief litigation counsel, associate general counsel, and vice president of law at Baxter International, Inc., and Baxter Healthcare Corporation.
