A spine specialist based in North Richland Hills, Texas, Dr. Anil Kumar Kesani takes a conservative approach to patient treatment, using spinal surgery as a last resort. Anil Kesani, MD, has performed numerous motion-preserving procedures, such as disc replacement and stem cell treatments, as well as spinal injections and complex spine surgery.
Dr. Kesani received his medical degree from University College London Medical School. As a medical student, he received the Esther Frances White Memorial Prize for exceptional achievement and earned a distinction for his performance in his final medical doctorate examinations. He attained board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in July 2013.
Dr. Kesani has completed numerous post-graduate training programs, including an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, followed by a combined orthopedic and neurosurgery spine fellowship at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario.
