Responsible for all technical matters relating to the products manufactured and packed, with particular reference to ensuring that the products meet both the customer’s specifications and the relevant legal requirements; liaised with technical and commercial colleagues in procurement, sales and distribution in different countries to ensure due diligence, production samples and finished product reached customers with total safety, quality and legality guarantees.
Produced/approved product specifications and labeling, analyzed trends on non-conformances (customer, pesticide and micro) and ensured they were handled in a suitable manner, investigated and challenged corrective actions. In addition, I performed both internal and customers’ benchmarking assessments on our products.
Shadowed third parties audits to approve suppliers: F2F in Guatemala and BRC in Kenya.
Gained High Care environment experience by visiting/checking production sites both in UK and overseas.
