Experienced in software product development and engineering, Andrew Anagnost has designed composite structures and propulsion installations for aerospace corporation Lockheed Martin and managed product strategy and applications consulting for the simulation software company Exa. Andrew Anagnost joined Autodesk in 1997 to spearhead the expansion of third-party mechanical design applications as the MAI partner manager. He subsequently served as a director of product management, a senior director of marketing, a vice president of engineering and simulation products, and a vice president of Suites and Web services.
Andrew Anagnost currently creates cross-industry marking plans and oversees general marketing resource allocation as Autodesk’s senior vice president of industry strategy and marketing. He shares his expertise on subjects such as cloud business models and the evolution of the modern manufacturing through his frequent speaking engagements and regular articles on the Autodesk lines/shapes/space blog.
Anagnost’s community involvement includes supporting local schools by sponsoring events and volunteering to serve on the district’s technology committee.
