About Me
Andrea Riposati is the founder and CEO of Dante Genomics, formerly called Dante Labs. He holds a Master of Science Degree from Università Bocconi in Italy, where he graduated Summa cum Laude and was on the Dean’s List. He also has a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, obtained in 2009.

Riposati served as a Business Analyst at IBM before becoming a Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton, a global consulting firm. He then took on a teaching faculty position in the Harvard University Department of Economics. From there, Andrea Riposati worked as an Associate at Booz & Company.

Offered a position at Amazon in Seattle, Riposati became Senior Category Manager in the B2B Marketplace division, during which he launched four stores in two years and achieved triple digit revenue growth. He subsequently moved up within Amazon to their New York City branch as Project Leader in 3D Printing, where he launched the 3D printing division at the company. Still in New York City, moved on to Muse Technologies, where he served as Chairman. Finally, in late 2016, Andrea Riposati founded Dante Labs, which was later renamed to become what is currently known as Dante Genomics. Dante Genomics is a global genomics company making genome testing available and accessible to individuals around the world.

Andrea Riposati holds three patents; two are a method and system for replacing and refreshing the idle screen of a mobile device; one is a method and system to protect personal genetic data.

Riposati is the recipient of a number of awards and honors. Most recently, he was given the Ernst & Young, Italy, Entrepreneur of the Year Award under the “Startup” category for Dante Labs for "bringing science within everyone's reach, for contributing to the development of the local community and for strengthening Italy's leadership in a cutting edge sector.” He was the winner of the Harvard Business School Dynamic Markets Competition, a member of the winning team of the Harvard Business School TOM Shad Competition, and the recipient of Bocconi University Dean's Gold Medal.
