A member of the United States Equestrian Federation and the North Carolina Dressage and Combined Training Association, Andrea Gumrich is an award-winning dressage rider and trainer who has successfully trained a stable of horses to compete in high-level competition. A five-time United States Dressage Federation medalist, Andrea Gumrich rides the Count of Monte Cristo, a Hanoverian horse with which she has earned four top-10 finishes at regional events.
Ms. Gumrich previously trained an 18-hand horse to Grand Prix, the highest level of competition in dressage. In 2011, she reached a three-star rating in Centerline Scores and has been successful at the 1st and Intermediare 1 competition levels, where she has a 66 and 64.34 median score, respectively.
In addition to riding, Ms. Gumrich is an accomplished trainer who owns and operates American Equine Sales in Ellerbe, North Carolina. She offers full-service rider and horse training at her 22-acre farm and sells professionally trained horses.
