Gregorio Marañón Hospital, Psychiatry Area. In those two months of internship, I had to evaluate different types of disorders in different patients using standardised assessment and scales. It was, also, part of my job to develop personalized intervention programs for each patient.
CIAN Alcalá (Neurorehabilitation Center) As an occupational therapist intern, my job was to adapt all the daily activities for the patients with neurocognitive disabilities to their needs. In addition, I had to do some physical rehabilitation, such as exercising the patients’ arms and legs.
Infanta Cristina Hospital, Physical Rehabilitation Area. As an intern at the hospital, I had to treat each patient according to their hand injuries and pathologies, as well as provide them with different exercises to do at home.
Before I finished my grade at University, I worked as an intern in two other centers: Albertia’s Nursing Home (Moratalaz, Madrid, Spain) and Gil Gayarre Fundation (Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid, Spain). In the first one, I worked with patients with different cognitive damages came by ageing, and in the second one, I worked with people with mental disabilities
