Amzy Hibler joined the Chevron Corporation in 1986 after earning his bachelor of business administration from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. Working out of Chevron’s offices in California and Texas, he accepted a series of promotions to worldwide exploration accounting representative, manager of growth division budgets, and regional accounting manager for central Asia and the Middle East. This last position required Amzy Hibler to serve several years in Kazakhstan and Indonesia.
During this period in his career, Mr. Hibler returned to the academic arena to secure a master of business administration with a focus on marketing from the University of Houston Sugar Land and a master of science in commercialization from the University of Texas at Austin. He ultimately left Chevron in 2014 as chief financial officer of the Chevron Pipe Line Company in Bellaire, Texas. Amzy Hibler currently co-owns and is the CFO of the Austin-based home security and automation company Technology Guru.
