Amita Vadlamudi has worked in the IT industry for more than 30 years, and served as a computer systems engineer at a major financial services company. In this capacity, she has supported UNIX systems for companies that run on Solaris or IBM Advanced Interactive eXecutive (AIX) operating systems. Ms. Vadlamudi has also managed the installations and has overseen the continued maintenance of accompanying software products for those systems. Well versed in industry languages such as Oracle Corporation’s Java, she has provided connectivity support through system area networks with recovery suites and server recovery tools. In addition, Amita Vadlamudi has built secure infrastructure for File transfer protocol (FTP) transmissions.
A graduate of St. Peter’s College, Amita Vadlamudi enjoys pursuing her interests of reading and spending time outdoors. She has volunteered as a grocery shopper for the homebound for many years, and she supports PBS, NPR, The American Red Cross, and UNICEF.
