Allen Bodner Attorney

New York Attorney Focused on Real Estate Law

New York United States (New York)
Employed Available
A well established New York attorney, Allen Bodner has represented a diverse range of corporate and real estate clients over the decades in high profile litigation matters. Starting off working with small firms and engaging as a solo practitioner with legal team support, Attorney Allen Bodner engaged with clients that included limited partnerships.

In addition to his private practice, Mr. Bodner has long provided counsel to Cammeby's International, Ltd., a major real estate company. He has achieved dozens of positive outcomes over the years, and successfully represented an innocent art seller in United States of America v. One Tintoretto. In the case, he argued that such a party should not lose possession of an art treasure when it had been fraudulently brought into the country by his agent.

Mr. Bodner also served as counsel before the New York State Court of Appeals in Bazak International Corp. v. Mast Industries, Inc. In the case, the appeals court interpreted Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code such that “described transactions” were included that were not necessarily in conformity with previously required formalities.

Community focused, Allen Bodner has served as president of the Yeshivah of Flatbush and instructed at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice as an adjunct professor of law.
