Alicia Procello Maddox began her career in corporate responsibility and philanthropy in 1996 at The California Wellness Foundation, where she served for seven years as a program officer and, more recently, program director. In 2004, Alicia Procello Maddox joined Nike, Inc.’s U.S. Community Affairs Department as a senior program manager, and in 2009, she left that organization as a corporate responsibility manager to assume her current duties as the president of the Avery Dennison Foundation.
In addition to dispatching her professional obligations, she maintains affiliations with various industry and philanthropic entities, including the Los Angeles chapter of Volunteers of America. A member of the boards of the YWCA Pasadena-Foothill Valley and the California Center for Public Health Policy, she previously served on the boards of Southern California Grantmakers and the Southern California Public Health Association.
Ms. Maddox holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of California, Berkeley, and master of public health from the University of Michigan.
