My preferences are for working with other passionate and skilled individuals in situations with great challenges - turning something around from failure is so much more satisfying than moving through a process with very few obstacles. I have learned so much more from mistakes; mine and other's.

  • ROLE - Team Leader.
  • CHALLENGE - Insufficient/unreliable Service Delivery. Team-leading role undefined/unestablished. Customers lacked faith in team.
  • METHOD - Consistency, Empowerment, Transparency, and Trust. Created peaceful working environment/structured methods of contact; cordoned off team but made sure to encourage non-disruptive contacts with customers. Introduced Agile methods as a complement. This entailed breaking with established practices that did not increase efficiency.

  • » Restructuring/stabilising team work-flow and customer ordering/communication (liaising with/organising customer PO-teams). Through the team's concentrated efforts, in close conjunction with our customers, we established new routines.
  • » Advanced/developed ITS, changing method from Ericsson's single-step waterfall model (PROPS) to more agile approach (KANBAN/SCRUM hybrid).
  • » Managed change from consultants (primarily) from out-sourcing partner (HP) to consultants (mostly) directly contracted.
  • » Agile project with four work-flows and two empowered self-organised teams (cross-functional with regards to all aspects of our operation: analysis-design-implementation-testing-operations-support); project took two (2) weeks from conception to start.
  • » Coordinated team effort for monthly Change Weekend and managed Change Weekends for the HUB.
  • » Meetings with the customers to streamline the order process and to escalate and troubleshoot delays.
  • » Participated in the organisation of Change-, Incident-, and Operational aspects of the HUB.
  • » Supervised team efforts, in part by removing obstacles, taking responsibility, creating consistent and transparent work-flows and not the least by creating a less stressful working environment (in agile terms by reducing "thrashing" by customers).
