About Me
Alexandra Jakob, an entrepreneur based in Sydney, Australia, has left a notable mark across a diverse range of sectors, including education, private investment, tech start-ups, e-commerce, hospitality, and beauty. Her entrepreneurial journey is highlighted by the successful creation and exit from significant ventures such as Little Learning School and BondiBoost. Currently, Alexandra leads Globe Wealth, a private investment firm that focuses on business strategy, investment management, and forging strong partnerships.

In 2006, Alexandra's entrepreneurial path began with the establishment of Little Learning School following the acquisition of her first childcare centre. Inspired by her experiences as a mother, she was dedicated to providing high-quality care and developmental opportunities for children. She introduced strategic educational programmes, diverse extracurricular activities, and better staff-to-children ratios. The swift success of Little Learning School saw its expansion across NSW, Canberra, and Melbourne, becoming one of Australia’s top privately-owned childcare groups. By 2018, the organisation had grown to include over 2,500 employees and 54 centres. The business was later sold to Bain Capital Private Equity and Busy Bees through two separate transactions.

In 2018, Alexandra launched BondiBoost, a haircare brand that quickly captured both local and international markets. She was driven by the need for premium, Australian-made hair products free from questionable ingredients. The result was salon-grade products crafted with high-performance botanical ingredients. Her innovative use of social media marketing and brand strategy propelled the company to million-dollar revenue within months. BondiBoost expanded into premium salons and major retailers like Boots UK, Sephora in the USA and Canada, and Ulta in the USA. In 2022, Gauge Capital acquired BondiBoost, marking another successful business exit for Alexandra.

In 2023, Alexandra entered the hospitality sector as a strategic partner and investor in Iberica, a Mediterranean restaurant located in Bondi. Known for its artistic atmosphere and exceptional Spanish cuisine, Iberica quickly gained a reputation as a standout in Sydney’s bustling dining scene.

Since 2024, Alexandra has been at the helm of Globe Wealth, a private investment firm specialising in business strategy, investment management, and partnership development. She focuses on building strong relationships and working closely with top-notch management teams to improve decision-making and maximise value creation. Globe Wealth's global perspective and diverse investment strategy include private equity, venture capital, debt funding, and property investments, with a strong presence in sectors such as education, real estate, hospitality, and manufacturing.
