Alexander Georg Waldner

After seven years of academic and professional experience in the luxury hospitality industry in five different countries and two internships within the real estate consultancy world, I realised that my true passion lies in innovation and strategic management. For this reason, I started my Master of Science in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at ESADE Business & Law School, Barcelona, Spain and the CEMS Master in International Management.

A key reason to take up this new challenge was to broaden my horizon beyond the hospitality industry to be able to apply my hospitality skill set in other sectors and combine it with my passion for innovation and design. I am convinced that my ability to ensure a perfect guest experience, to anticipate needs, to take ownership of projects, to work task oriented and my background in luxury goods as well as my experience to work in an industry where teamwork and social skills are vital, can be important assets to all companies.

During my post-graduate studies, I have been starting to explore the triggering field of innovation and design consulting. Hence, I am very much looking forward to exploring possibilities to combine my hospitality background and my passion for innovation and strategic management in this field.
