Alexander Christodoulakis

Financier and Businessman Alexander Christodoulakis comes from a notable Greek family with roots traced back to the Byzantine era. More recently, the family has achieved eminence through its presence in the industrial, maritime world.

Mr. Christodoulakis grew up in Europe and later on joined the military. After years of hard work, service in the armed forces and after his university studies, he decided to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps and reopen the Portland Shipping Co.

Today, Alexander Christodoulakis remains the president of his grandfather’s company. Over the last few decades, he has vastly expanded the shipping investments empire under the umbrella of the Portland Marine Group of Companies. He maintains business ventures across several industries, with firm roots in the financial and shipping sectors. His financial group PBS SA Capital Group manages the Portland Marine Group of Companies as well as a number of international portfolios around the world.
