An accomplished educator, Alex Ramadanis brings nearly three decades of experience to his role as an adjunct professor at Queens College in New York, where his responsibilities include grading exams, ensuring that students are absorbing and retaining classroom material, and providing personalized guidance to students who need extra help. Additionally, Alex Ramadanis supervises student-teachers who are preparing for education careers and coordinates with the department administration about curricular and other course-related questions.
Alex Ramadanis earned his BS in occupational education from the New York City College of Technology in Brooklyn before going on to Touro College to complete two master’s degrees, one in school administration, supervision, and leadership and another in special education and childhood education. In addition to his work at Queens College, Mr. Ramadanis serves as an independent applied behavior analysis and early intervention services provider for children up to the age of 3.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Ramadanis gives back to his community through his work as a volunteer firefighter with the Nyack Fire Department. During his free time, he pursues a diverse range of hobbies that includes an interest in Volkswagens, riding motorcycles, and remaining apprised of the latest developments in the field of education.
