Alex Jacquet has served as Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product at Smiletime, Inc., in Los Angeles since joining the interactive livestreaming company in 2014. During his time in this position, he has overseen all product development and launch activities, including Smiletime's livestreaming support for major media brands such as The CW and TMZ. Alex Jacquet is also responsible for developing upcoming Smiletime products, including a direct-to-consumer application blending the company’s popular video technology with more immersive virtual activities. Prior to joining Smiletime, he spent time as a senior analyst with The Walt Disney Company in Burbank.
Mr. Jacquet studied international relations as an undergraduate at Stanford University, during which time he took part in the Bing Honors College program and played on the university’s rugby team. He received his Bachelor's degree in 2006. More recently, he received a Masters of Business Administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business. While pursuing his MBA, he spent time as a teaching assistant and co-president of the Media and Entertainment Club. He also placed first overall in the Digital Media Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition.
