An accomplished performing arts professional, Alec Doyle oversees all facets of programming, production, finance, marketing, fundraising and community outreach as executive director of the historic Colonial Theatre in Keene, NH. He brings more than 50 presentations, including music, dance, theater, comedy, family programming, and other events to this 900-seat non-profit theater each season. Alec Doyle’s accomplishments at the Colonial include increasing the Keene, NH, theater’s education program attendance by 50 percent and drawing more than 8,000 students on an annual basis.
Mr. Doyle holds a bachelor of arts in cultural anthropology from the University of New Hampshire. Before joining the Colonial in 2003, he launched and managed the independent Los Angeles performance and film/video production company Visualiner. He also operated his own sole proprietorship, Doyle Productions, through which he directed multiple critically acclaimed stage productions, such as “Long Day’s Journey Into Night” for the Pacific Resident Theatre and “The Playboy of the Western World” for LA Theatre Works.
