With a background in clinical psychology and neuropsychology, Alan E. Brooker, PhD, is board certified as a clinical neuropsychologist and forensic examiner and. Since 1994, Alan E. Brooker has worked for the State of California Division of Workers’ Compensation as a qualified medical evaluator. He also consults with the pharmaceutical firm Hoechst Marion Roussel, Inc., as a clinical research neuropsychologist.
Dr. Brooker earned his BA in psychology at Chapman University and completed an MS in special education, rehabilitation, and school psychology at California State University, Sacramento. During this time, he was an active reservist who served as Air Force Academy liaison officer.
Dr. Brooker went on to earn his doctor of philosophy at Kansas State University and interned at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (AFB) medical center in clinical psychology. From 1982 to 1992, Alan E. Brooker was stationed at Travis AFB in New York. During his last four years there, he served as chief neuropsychologist with the United States Air Force.
