Experiences

The works involved can be described as rehabilitation of 10 pump stations (PS) comprising mainly:
1. New electromechanical works (pumps, motor control centers I&C works incl. SCADA etc.), pipe work and civil works.
2. Pump stations performance measurements.
Responsibilities:
Providing direction for safety, project management, design, construction, regulatory, and maintenance activities for pipelines, instrumentations, measurement, pipeline repair and maintenance, and other construction and operational activities.
Preparing a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
Submitting site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required.
Preparing the Mechanical Material Submittals.
Preparing the Mechanical Shop Drawings.
Planing the execution of all Mechanical related works & coordinating the works to Electrical & Civil groups.
Implementing and monitoring of all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings, methods & safety rules.
Ensuring equipment and procedures comply with safety regulations.

Assist management of the area, including priorities and the sequence of work on the project. Ensure project goals and objectives are integrated with the rest of the project.
Preparing the Mechanical Shop Drawings.
Preparing the Mechanical Material Submittals.
Implementing and monitoring of all mechanical related works (HVAC, Drain-Plumbing, Firefighting and Water Systems) at site as per approved drawings, methods & safety rules.
Liaising with other engineers, surveyors, clients and sub-contractors.
Coordinating the works to Electrical & Civil groups.
Elaborate in preparing the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.

Develop detailed design drawings and specifications for mechanical equipment, dies/tools, and controls, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.

Skills

Good knowledge of various mechanical systems: HVAC, water systems, drain systems, rain water systems and fire fighting systems.
Ability to analyze problems and solve complex problems occurring in the project.
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
Making sure budgets, timescales and project specifications are met.
Managing construction projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree in MECHANICAL ENGINEERING.

General secondary education certificate in Jordan.
