A longtime New York City resident and energy sector leader, Adam Victor works with a range of public and private sector entities across the United States and around the world. He founded Gas Alternative Systems (GAS) in 1981 with a mission to develop clean, durable, reliable, and efficient electric and steam infrastructure. In later years, GAS spawned the affiliate companies TransGas Energy Systems and TransGas Development Systems. Focusing the bulk of his efforts in the fields of coal gasification and energy development, Adam Victor has served as president and chief executive officer of TransGas Development Systems since 2005.
Outside of the professional arena, Adam Victor is a dedicated martial arts practitioner who holds both a second-degree black belt in judo and a fourth-degree black belt in jiu-jitsu. He is also a passionate horseracing enthusiast who has joined with his son to own several champion horses over the years.
