My responsibilities included overseeing and counseling campers from sixth grade to recent high school graduates. I also developed organizational skills through creating games and participating in a Leadership Camp.
My responsibilities include supervising work crews of between 8-12 workers as well as distributing tasks to clean multiple buildings in a timely manner. I would organize and stock custodial closets. I would also coordinate with building representatives to figure out how to most efficiently carry out cleaning schedules. This position also included the responsibility of confronting workers and carrying out disciplinary measures when necessary.
My responsibilities included baking bread for service, making ice cream, preparing various components of the pastries and desserts. assembling and plating the desserts, and cleaning my station at the end of service. I also spent some time as a food runner in the front of the restaurant. My responsibilities for this position included occasionally calling out orders, sending and taking food from the kitchen to the customer, explaining the details of the food to the customer, and overall customer satisfaction.
I rotated on various kitchen positions such as pantry station, fry station, plate up, and I trained on both the front and back saute stations. Depending on the day my responsibilities included assembling and plating deserts, salads and appetizers, making salad dressings, making homemade croutons, preparing sauces and fried foods, calling out orders, plating up orders, organizing dry pantry and walk-in cooler, and cleaning my station at the end of service.
