Aaron McNeel is a Portland, Maine, resident who is responsible for the upkeep of the fishing boat Aaron & Melissa. As general maintenance assistant for the vessel, Aaron McNeel ensures that it is proper running order for voyages throughout the northeast Atlantic.
Mr. McNeel’s entrepreneurial activities extend to purchasing and selling vintage and contemporary colognes on platforms such as eBay. His knowledge of the field extends to creating his own cologne and perfume products from essential oils. Each year, he also crafts bug repellent for family and friends from natural ingredients such as bee propolis.
Aaron McNeel’s interest in making functional items extends to leather work, and he has created a number of clothing accessories. He also crafts original signs using an innovative type of LED “neon rope” technology. Music is a major part of his life, as well, and he is particularly drawn to rock bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime, and REM. He also enjoys the work of alternative artists such as the Pixies and Aphex Twin, and is a longtime Radiohead fan.
