Maintaining standing as a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Aarohi Ambardekar serves as consultant anesthesiologist with Southern Maryland Anesthesia Associates. There, his primary duties involve ensuring the well-being of patients before, after, and during surgery. Dr. Aarohi Ambardekar also conducts preoperative evaluations in order to create anesthetic plans tailored to meet the needs of each patient based on their medical history.
Dr. Ambardekar earned his bachelor of science in biology at the University of Maryland and studied medicine at the Touro University California College of Osteopathic Medicine, from which he graduated with his doctor of osteopathic medicine. Subsequently, he completed an internship in internal medicine at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore and an anesthesia residency at the SUNY Downtown Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Outside his professional obligations, Dr. Aarohi Ambardekar enjoys grilling and watching National Football League games. His favorite team is the Washington Redskins.
